The Marine Industry Association of South Africa (MIASA) and the South African Boat Builders Export Council (SABBEX) have merged. The organisation is now known as Boating South Africa/SABBEX. The current Board Chairman is Bruce Tedder and the other Board members are Craig Garrow, Quinisela Zulu, Jacques Brummer, Koorts Liebenberg and Ken Bircher.
