Gemini Marine broke new ground in its Cape Town facility with a contract for four tenders for a superyacht client. The tenders, in various stages of production, range from a VIP cabin RIB for the owner to a 530 fully inflatable deployment craft for ice exploration missions.
It’s the third superyacht tender package to the same VIP client, according to Gemini chief executive Gerhard Neethling. “Really proud of this one – not just because it is the third project for the same client, but because it shows how far Gemini Marine has come from rescue and patrol roots into building complete superyacht tender solutions for some very serious expedition yachts,” Neethling commented in a social media post. “Four completely different boats, each with a specific job to do, all for one vessel. Those who know expedition boating will understand just how much capability that adds.”
