We are looking for a talented Engineer/Designer with experience in CATIA v5 to join our team. If you have a passion for marine design, a knack for problem solving, and a desire to contribute to exciting boatbuilding projects, this could be the perfect role for you.
Key Responsibilities
• Design and develop a range of fibreglass workboats, including fishing vessels, patrol boats, and other specialized boats, using CATIA v5.
• Collaborate with the production team to ensure designs meet practical construction requirements.
• Optimize designs for performance, safety, and efficiency while adhering to regulatory and client specifications.
• Create detailed 3D models, technical drawings, and documentation for production and quality assurance.
• Work with naval architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to deliver innovative and functional designs.
• Participate in project planning and contribute to the continuous improvement of the design process.
Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Marine Engineering, Naval Architecture, or a related field
• Proficiency in CATIA v5 software with a solid understanding of its application in marine design
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Experience in boat or ship design, with knowledge of fibreglass construction techniques being a plus
• Attention to detail and the ability to work both independently and in a team environment

• Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate with different departments
• Knowledge of marine industry standards and regulations is an advantage.
