The long-awaited Xquisite Sixty Solar Sail has arrived, the latest model from the US-SA joint venture Xquisite Yachts.
The latest model surfaces after four years in development and looks set for a warm reception at upcoming international boat shows. It is due to berth at Xquisite’s own resort and marina in the Bahamas in September,and then at the Annapolis boat show in October.
However first up is a preview Open Day at the V&A Waterfront on July 26 where local enthusiasts could get a look at the boat’s solar power systems and advanced hybrid propulsion. “No one has ever set foot on this new revolutionary model before,” Xquisite says in an enticing Open Day invite.
