SA skills initiative shortlisted for global award
A South African marine industry skills training programme has been shortlisted for one of the world’s top boat building awards.
MIASA and SABBEX merge
The Marine Industry Association of South Africa (MIASA) and the South African Boat Builders Export Council (SABBEX) have merged. The organisation is now known as Boating South Africa/SABBEX. The current Board Chairman is Bruce Tedder and the other Board members are Craig Garrow, Quinisela Zulu, Jacques Brummer, Koorts Liebenberg and Ken Bircher.
