TNPA reports progress with its new Integrated Port Management System at Cape Town Port, adding further momentum to efforts to upgrade and improve Port performance.

There is also good news for ship repair, with the Port’s main synchro lift currently accommodating three vessels, and further progress with plans for a new floating dock

In a news update to the Cape Town Port Liaison Forum on March 23, TNPA further expressed confidence in the Port’s fuel supply situation in light of concerns around cargo disruptions caused by the current Middle East conflict.

In their update TNPA said it was now accepting online bookings for the Robinson Drydock via its Integrated Port Management System – a significant milestone in efforts to streamline Port operations. An RFP for the new floating dock would soon be going to market. “We are working very hard to ensure that as soon as possible we send that out to market,” TNPA said.
