Cape Town yard Voyage Yachts is looking to expand its market footprint in both the charter and private cruising segments.
Having consolidated operations at a new facility, the company this month held a Factory Open Day and hosted guests aboard its new 510 model, which has just been nominated for the Multihull of the Year Award in the Sail 45’-55’ category. The 510 was launched last year, with the first two hulls sold into the charter market, with a third hull – an ‘owner’s version’ – currently in development.
“We’re truly honored that the VOYAGE 510 has been nominated in the Multihull Awards category Sail 45’–55’,” commented Voyage Chief Boat Builder Kay Oldenburg. “This recognition reflects the evolution of our design philosophy and the dedication of our entire team.”
“While we’ve proudly served the charter market for many years, we’re now expanding our focus to Europe and East Africa, both for charter operations and private cruising. The VOYAGE 510 represents that next chapter, blending adventure, luxury, and confidence in a way that feels both true to our heritage and future ahead.”
“This nomination is meaningful to us because it affirms not only the boat itself, but the direction we’re heading as a brand,” Oldenburg said.
The Owner’s Version of the 510 would facilitate the company’s re-entry into the private owner market after many years producing solely for charter.
