Cape Town yard Knight Yachts has launched a range of luxury lightweight yacht tenders.
The Knight Tenders come in three lengths: 3.5m, 3.8m, and 4.2m. They were designed in collaboration with naval architect Sasha Vlad of V2 Marine.
“Over the past year, our team has been working tirelessly to bring this vision to life,” the company says in a launch press release. “We’ve developed and tooled a range of tenders that are not only visually stunning but also incredibly versatile and high performing.”
The three tender versions align with three distinct deck configurations: a centre console version, a side-helm version, and the tiller version that prioritises manoeuvrability and space.
“Our tenders are constructed using advanced carbon fibre foam sandwich technology, with an epoxy infusion system that ensures exceptional strength-to-weight ratio and durability. This means you get a lightweight, stable, lots of loading space and dry ride that’s perfect as a yacht tender,” the company says. “Whether you’re a luxury yacht owner or an enthusiast looking for a high-performance tender, or a resort owner looking for an eco-friendly option for environmentally sensitive areas.”
The company said the tender range would also complement their flagship Electric Carvel 44 Catamaran.
