Experienced maritime professional Cal Tomlinson has taken over from Rob Brennan at the helm of Eastern Cape yard St Francis Catamarans.
Brennan retired at the end of last year, having led the yard since founder Duncan Lethbridge retired in 2019.
Tomlinson previously worked for two of South Africa’s top yards, namely Two Oceans Marine Manufacturing and Southern Wind Shipyards. At Two Oceans he worked as a Project Manager, and at Southern Wind as production manager. Prior to a return to the boat building industry he sailed professionally for 13 years and was also involved in the operational management of one of the world’s leading Round the World Yacht Races’.
