Omegaverse, Cape Town’s large-scale 3D printing specialist, is on its way to Germany as part of an official government-led trade delegation.
The company is one of 22 SA firms selected for the outbound mission under the banner of a Partnering in Business with Germany Programme run by the Department of Trade, Industry and Competition.
“The mission will include B2B meetings, visits to German manufacturing facilities, and in-market training, aimed at forging enduring partnerships,” Omegaverse said in a news update.
Omegaverse recently hosted a DTIC delegation at its state-of-the-art facility, a visit the company described as “a significant milestone”. “The DTIC delegation’s visit was about more than courtesy—it was a productive exchange of ideas and intent,” the company said. “We showcased Omegaverse’s African-first capabilities: our 5‑axis CNC and surfacing precision (accuracies of 0.2–0.3 mm), composites tooling, and our sustainability ethos. In turn, the DTIC shared insights into export frameworks, international trade incentives, and the practical mechanics of Partnering in Business with Germany.”
