Cape Town–based Forty Knots says its new power catamaran design ‘redefines luxury on the water’.

The company that first made its mark with a 37ft luxury hydrofoil water shuttle is now venturing into the charter market with a 57’ charter power cat model.

“Now Forty Knots is entering a new league with its 57ft charter power catamaran, a model that takes the brand from movement to living,” the company says of the newcomer to its fleet. “The first unit is scheduled to hit the water in October 2026, with four units already on order for the British Virgin Islands charter market.

The 570 interior was designed in-house, while industry stalwart Phil Southwell  added his touch to the exterior.

“The 370 was our introduction, a premium ferry engineered for luxury inter-island transfers,” the company says. “The 570, however, is designed for life on the water, a beautifully crafted vessel where every detail has been considered and luxury is at the heart of the experience.”

The company is also planning a smaller recreational model as it expands into the luxury charter market.
