Fresh from Annapolis Boat Show success – where they scooped yet another award – Knysna-based cruising cat specialists Vision Yachts, have spilled the beans about a new model, the Vision 484, that looks to build on the success of their flagship 444. The new design is a slightly bigger version of its predecessor but with a few design innovations based on customer feedback.

Here’s what the company has to say about the new model in a launch statement: “The new 484 model will include all the unique features of the Vision 444 and the Vision 444ES, with the extended length and width providing more spacious proportions and new innovations. The Vision 484 stands out with its sleek design, incorporating advanced materials and cutting-edge technology that enhance both performance and comfort. With a spacious interior layout and elegant aesthetics, the 484 caters to both seasoned sailors and those new to the world of yachting. Its emphasis on ease of handling reflects a growing trend in the industry, prioritising user-friendly blue water cruising catamarans without sacrificing luxury and performance.”

Vision also reports a successful Annapolis Boat Show where their 444 scooped the “Best in Show” award from Sail America.

Yard chief executive James Turner said the accolade was testament to the company’s design philosophy of customer-centered innovation: “Our Vision around the globe are fully deserving of this award with their consistent drive to produce and show the best in class,” Turner says
