
Vredenburg yard Sachal have splashed their latest hull at the Yacht Port facility in Saldanha. The 14.5m tuna fishing vessel marks yet another production milestone for the stalwart yard that is coming up to its 70th anniversary.
“This purpose-built composite vessel represents our continued commitment to quality craftsmanship, innovation, and sustainability, hallmarks that define every project we deliver,” the company says in a social media update. “Our team will now commence Harbour Acceptance Trials (HATs) and Sea Acceptance Trials (SATs), testing all onboard systems extensively to ensure peak performance and reliability before she officially joins the commercial Tuna sector.”
The company has over 1000 boats to its name ranging from 8ft to 120ft.
