Call for nominations for Boat Builder Awards for Business Achievement 2016 
Nominations are now invited for the Boat Builder Awards for Business Achievement 2016, organised jointly by IBI and METSTRADE and set to take place on Wednesday 16th November at The National Maritime Museum, Amsterdam.
Visitors to the awards’ website, Boatbuilderawards.com, can nominate for any of the eight awards by following the quick and easy online process. The eight awards are:
• Retail marketing initiative • International distributor/dealer development • Boatbuilder and equipment manufacturer collaborative solution • Innovative onboard design solution • Innovation in a production process • Environmental Initiative • Best Apprenticeship and Training Scheme • Lifetime achievement award
Nominations remain open until the first week of September, being presented to the judges for their adjudication in mid-September. The shortlisted entries will be notified to the companies concerned in early October, when they will be invited to attend the gala dinner and awards presentation.
This year the organisers are expecting more than 300 industry guests to attend, building on the success of the inaugural event in 2015. “Last year we received more than 115 quality nominations for six awards, indicating not only we believe the industry’s desire to have their achievements noted, but most importantly its innovative, pioneering spirit,” says IBI publishing director Nick Hopkinson. “2016 promises to be the year the Boat Builder Awards firmly cements itself in the industry psyche.”
